Bargain hunters are out in force in London as shops slash their prices on the Boxing Day holiday.
LONDON, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM (ITN) - Bargain hunters were out in force for the Boxing Day sales at London's luxury department store Harrods on Thursday (December 26).
Entertainment and refreshments were laid on for those waiting in the cold for the doors to open so they could get their hands on a bargain at the Knighstbridge store."When you can actually get to a counter you will find the bargains if anything's left, yes," one shopper said
At a clothing store in central London, people started queuing at dawn and the queue went round the block.
Some stores opened as early as 6am in London's main shopping district in the West End and Oxford Street, where over a million people are expected to turn out according to retailers.
